This is the urban expressway traffic management system. Relatively fewer taxis operate on urban highways compared to roads in downtown. So, detectors are installed at 500 meter intervals. The system processes data collected by detectors and produces communication information in real time. According to an analysis conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the road traffic management system has a 93~95% accuracy in terms of traffic condition information, which is higher than any other city in the world.
